Manzanita

Manzanita is a very hard and durable wood. The outer skin is usually sanded to reveal the rich color contrasts and grain patterns that hide below the surface. The inside heart wood ranges from a dark walnut color to deep burgandy. It grows very, very slow in certain climate regions of Northern & Southern California.
