Driftwood

Driftwood is a gift of Nature. For thousands of years wood pieces have fallen into lakes and rivers and have wound their way down Mountains to meet Oceans. This process exposes the wood to the natural carving and sanding of water, rock, and sand. Add the salt and sun to nature forming the wood and what we receive is most natural.

For this new collection, we have tried very hard not to alter the shapes of wood that are collected and turned into docks. We truly believe that these pieces belong as they are found. We do hand sandblast every piece and perform a 3 cycle soak and rinse in a Sodium Chloride solution to kill microbes, clean, and lighten the pieces. At times we take it another step and apply a water based white wash formula. This entire process take over 3 months to achieve correct results.
